Angel Fire's elementary and mid-school children attend Eagle Nest Elementary/Middle School in Eagle Nest (on the shore of Eagle Nest Lake).

High school students attend Cimarron High School in Cimarron or the Moreno Valley Charter High School in Angel Fire. Opportunities for higher education are found locally at the UNM campus in Taos.
